How to get it
- Open urban:EXPORT and find the place: search by city, address or coordinates, or drag the map.
- Choose the area shape — square, circle or a free rectangle — and its size (up to 100 km²).
- Pick the layers: buildings, roads, bridges, terrain, contours, water and green areas, trees.
- Press Create model. In about a minute you get a 3D preview, a drawing and the satellite image.
- Click 3D print (.stl). The note under the button shows the print scale and the model size in millimetres.
What you get
- A closed terrain slab with a base, buildings and trees on it — one watertight body.
- Automatic scale (1:500 to 1:50 000) so the model is about 200 mm across.
Tips
- Small details print better at larger scales — choose a smaller area for a detailed print.
- Turn off trees for a cleaner architectural model.
Questions
Is the STL watertight?
Yes, the terrain becomes a closed slab and buildings sit on it, so slicers accept it without repair in most cases.
